As a child growing up in the late 00s/ early 2010s, i grew up with CDs and DVDs. Learning how to work the DVD player by myself was a source of immense pride for me, and listening to music from my huge CD player/speaker combo was part of my nightly routine.

That speaker is long gone; I lent it to my sister at some point, and who knows where it is now. But after buying a portable CD player, I dug out my old CDs and gave them a listen for nostalgia's sake.

Some of them are unexpectedly amazing, some of them are really bad. Since listening to these makes me feel like I'm going insane, I 've decided to inflict some of that upon you, dear reader!
